Born August 13, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Michael Harold and Goldie Mae Sexton Perry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Pearl Elizabeth Hyman Perry. Jake was a United States Marine Corp veteran. He retired from Fed Ex and from IBM. He was the Columbus Rep for Good Guys Rod and Custom Association.
